Unite Worship Experience

Wednesday nights are our Unite Worship Experience for Crestview Student Ministry.

Everything kicks off at 5:45 with food and hang time. At 6:15 we head into our Large Group time with games, high energy worship with a live band, a message and at 7:15 students will meet in Life Change Groups.

We’ve created a large group environment that attracts students just like you. After all, we figure you want to be wherever your friends are. We make this time as fun and relevant as we possibly can.

Life Change Groups

Crestview // Student Area; Wednesdays at 7:15 pm

But we go a couple steps further and do two things we believe are vitally important for you: we pay attention to what’s going on in your life, and we care about you. This happens in our Life Change Group environment. Every week after large group, you will get together with your Life Change Group, or LCG, to spend time in a more intimate setting, talking, processing, and praying about what’s going on in your lives.

It’s simple: big group to life change group. The goal is for you to leave feeling energized and renewed to go out there and take on another week!

Core Classes

Crestview // Student Area; Sundays at 10:00 am

Crestview Student Ministry is all about helping students experience their faith in three areas. Wonder. Discovery. Passion. We want to move students beyond information about God to an actual experience with God.  We meet in groups according to life stage—Junior High, High School and a Senior class.

I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, as a lifetime pastor’s kid. When I was in 8th grade, I felt the Lord calling me into full-time ministry with my life. Going into my senior year of high school my dad was called to be a student pastor in Weatherford, TX. Following my senior year, I decided to attend Hardin-Simmons University to study Ministry and minor in Leadership. At Hardin-Simmons I met my wife Hannah and we got married in November of 2016, a month before my graduation in December of 2016.

Crestview Student ministry desires to relevantly encourage students to experience life change through Jesus Christ in order to live missional lives. I feel that we can best accomplish this goal by giving students the opportunity to encounter Jesus in new and real ways. We offer multiple ways of encountering Jesus through our Core Classes, Unite Worship Experience, Life Change Groups, Events, and serve opportunities. Another big way of helping students experience life change is by encouraging parents to not just “drop off” their students but rather find ways to serve within the student ministry. We also find it very important for us to partner with you as parents so we have many resources for you to engage the spiritual life of your student in everyday life. I will be the biggest advocate for every student and family that walks through these doors and give you the tools to succeed at encouraging life change through Jesus in your student.
