Groups

We believe significant relationships are the foundation of true biblical community. Interdependent relationships help us grow spiritually and become closer to God through sharing lives together.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

At Crestview we believe the best way to form Interdependent relationships is Authentic Relationships through Crestview groups.

You can discover more about groups and sign up by calling the office at 432-681-8200, visiting Crestview Connect in the Commons on Sundays, or going to our group locator below.

Group On-Ramps

We understand joining a group of people you barely know or don’t know at all can be challenging. To make it easier, we designed “on-ramps” to make you feel more comfortable. That way, whether it’s a new group or a group that is ongoing, you’ll be entering with others that are new to the group as well. Then, as a group, you will discuss the group dynamics as you proceed together.

Spring 2024: Our next on-ramp is Jan 7 - Jan 21. You’ll be hearing more and seeing more during the service.

Annual Breaks for Weekday Groups During the back to school process, Thanksgiving week, week prior to Christmas through New Years week, Spring Break, and the end of May until the Summer session starts.

As our groups generally meet year-round a few may take designed breaks as decided among the group themselves.

We encourage you to review our groups and find the right fit for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there different types of groups?

We offer a variety of group styles here at Crestview. Our weekday groups are relationship-focused and take breaks designed around our local school's calendar. On-ramps (or off-ramps)run every 9-13 weeks. Our Sunday Groups/Classes meet year-round and offer more in-depth, topic-based studies. The Crestview Classes run a session at a time and offer focused, short-term studies for spiritual growth, financial growth, marriage support, or various other topics that may be of help to our community. You may be interested in one type of group or a combination. It's important that whatever group you try, you do so with a strong level of committment.

When can I sign up for a group and how do I do that?

We have designed group on-ramps for 4 times a year. We have on-ramps in the fall, winter, spring, and summer designed to make it a comfortable process. We know it can be a little akward to join a new group so using our on-ramps will ensure you start with others new to the group as well. We offer three easy ways to sign up. You can sign up Sunday mornings at the Crestview Connect in the Commons, online at www.crestview.church, or by texting "group" to 432.219.8688.

You can join most groups year round, especially Sunday Classes using this webpage. We recommend you visit the Crestview Connect to arrange for someone to show you to your group and make introductions.

Crestview Classes usually start on the same calendar as Weekday Groups and vary in length.

What if I don't know what group I want?

That's understandable. We want you to know we'll work with you to find the best group that fits with your life stage, availability, and childcare needs. Click Group Connect near the top right of this page for assistance or call us at 432.681.8200**

Can I try out a group and change if it's not right for me?

Absolutely! We want you to be comfortable with the group and we want the dynamic of the group to be strong with you in it. Our groups are designed to have natural off-ramps and on-ramps to make it easier. It very well may take a couple tries before the fit is right.
