Online Groups

We believe it is important to stay connected or get connected to a group where you can experience community and spiritual growth. We invite you to review this material and use it with your family and friends as well as one of our Groups.

It’s important during this time we’ve been asked to practice social distancing that Crestview provides guidance and ways for you to safely interact with your others in community. One way to do that is by joining us on our social media platforms that you can click on in the lower left corner of this page. We will also be interacting with you on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in our new Crestview-Update that you will receive through email.

Thank you so much for exploring a whole new way to connect and have Community here at Crestview.  Please contact your group leader or call / email the church office with questions. groups@crestview.church

How to Participate on Zoom

Download zoom on the device of your choice. We recommend laptops for stability and ease of view, however all devices work well.

  • Try it out first – Your group leader will likely have a practice run.

  • Mute your side of the meeting when you’re not participating.

  • Review your materials ahead of time if made available by Leader.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to control sound during zoom meetings?

We recommend you perform a practice run or two pryor to holding your first meeting. Participants and Host/Leaders should check volume setting and ensure they are adjusted toward the high end. It is helpful if the participants and host use wireless earbuds or headsets with microphome built in, or wired headsets that came with your phone or device that contain a microphone.

Do I have to use Zoom? What about hackers or zoom-bombing?

We recommend Zoom but you can use the platform that works best for you and your group. We recommend Zoom as it is an industry leading choice that many churches use due to its ease of use and ability to use on many devices. It also features call in options. All platforms are subject to intrusion and Zoom has taken steps to control them. Reach out to us at the office for additional questions.
