In Matthew 13:10-16 Jesus explains the reason He used parables was to reveal the truth to those that wanted to hear it. As Pastor John shares Parables with us in this series, we should be examining what the next step in our spiritual growth will be, and what wisdom we can take from the truths revealed in parables.

October 28th - Reckless Father: Pastor John shared the parable of the lost son from Luke 15:11-32.  While God loves us enough to allow us to drift, eventually we realize God would rather rescue us than punish us which really presents us with only one logical alternative – return to God. We’ll see God’s unconditional love when our attitude changes from rebellion to brokenness. Watch Here

November 4th - You’ve Got the Faith: As we continue our series Parables with the sermon “You’ve Got the Faith” we looked at the parable of mustard seed faith.  Pastor John shared that real Biblical belief is life-changing and obedient.  Our faith is not a life vest we can throw on when we need it, it is a GPS that guides us.  Pastor also shared faith is measured by what we do, not by how we feel. November 11th - Trust and Opportunity: This week Pastor John led us through the parable in Luke 19:11-27. He shared that , with God, everyone gets equal trust and opportunity. Those opportunities are what gives you a ministry to serve in. It really matters that you learn to use your gifts and talents to serve God. The challenge is to make God look good by finding what God has entrusted you with, and taking action with that knowledge. To aid you in your discovery of our ministry and how you can use your gifts and talents we have located a couple of resources you can find by clicking the link below. Watch Here

Groups@Crestview

Life is better together. Everyone needs community, and groups allow you to connect to others and share how to apply Biblical principles in our lives while serving each other and the community around us.

Groups and Classes @ Crestview

Life Group Sign-ups start back up December 2

At Crestview, a group is people that grow spiritually through significant relationships.  We believe those relationships are formed more naturally by life stage and/or common interest.  We'll assist you along the way, helping you find a group that best meets your life-stage and availability. We encourage you to fill out the information here to begin the process.

What to expect?

These groups will have a time of bible study, a time to get to know each other and form relationships, and a time for prayer.  The focus will be on forming relationships and applying biblical principles to our lives.

There are also groups targeting specific needs including life

skills and support groups as well as topical study groups.
